Initially, I was a fashion student at Chulalongkorn University, and then I started to expand my interests into tattooing. However, I am still passionate about fashion design and constructing clothes. Therefore, I am currently and simultaneously designing my collections as I ascend to be a fourth-year student and doing part-time jobs as a tattoo artist.
My inspirations for doing tattoos and my fashion work are different, but there are connections to each other. In my fashion practices, I tend to contribute with vibrant tones and contrast techniques, materials, and styling with a kinda revival tone to it. While my tattoo works feature more organic and nature-bound to them, consisting of branches, roots, and rounded textures.
Even though nature frequently inspires me, translating it directly into my work can sometimes be challenging. To bridge that gap, I often seek more directional inspirations, like runway shows or conceptual fashion presentations. These help me identify parallels in elements such as hair styles or themes, which I can then adapt into my tattoo sketches and designs.
" I found the inspiration everywhere, because finding something within the same creative area won't allow me to be more creative. "
Usually, my source of inspiration comes from books, Pinterest, and different sources of media. However, when I explore an experiment outside, I find new perspectives and ideas that I would not have found otherwise.
I would describe my style as one that embraces vibrant tones and strong contrasts, often combining multiple media sources. Rather than relying on just visual references, I especially enjoy drawing from books, using their concepts as a foundation, then interpreting and adapting them into my own work. This process of transformation makes the final outcome even more engaging and layered.
For me, it’s easier to find a market as a tattoo artist. There's a clear audience and demand. But in fashion, it's harder to define who would truly connect with my style. The customer base for clothing is much more abstract.
I would love the opportunity to connect and share more about my style and creative journey.
